Michelle McElroy
Vice President of Business Development
Prior to joining E3 Retail, Michelle McElroy worked at Optum where she partnered across the organization to find innovative ways to assist consumers in finding the lowest cost options for their medication. Before Optum, Michelle was at Best Buy for 25 years with experience in retail operations, pricing and promotions, product management, reporting & analytics and business architecture.
Michelle earned a Bachelor’s of Applied Science degree in Business Management at Southwest Minnesota State University.
Career Passion
Michelle loves understanding how things work end-to-end and figuring out how to make things more efficient. She digs in to learn the details, breaks the details down into meaning parts, and then pulls it all together to present, or teach it, in a way that is easy for others to understand to make forward progress and drive change.

What was your first job?
“I started working at age 15 at both a dry cleaners and a women’s clothing boutique.”
What’s your favorite sports team?
“Minnesota Twins baseball as I was an avid softball player growing up and I love the smell of a fresh cut lawn.”
If your life was a movie, what actor would play your character and why?
“Julia Roberts from the movie Erin Brockovich, because I’ve always been very focused on achieving whatever I set out to do and I never give up even when faced with challenges.”
